The Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2023 is ready

The Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2023 will be held from March 28 to 31 in Boao, Hainan Province. All preparations are in place and the press center will be opened today.

Tian Qiyong, CCTV: Today, the Boao Forum for Asia Press Center is officially launched. The press center covers an area of more than 4,000 square meters and can accommodate hundreds of journalists at the same time. The site is equipped with gigabit optical fiber network and six simultaneous interpretation rooms, which can provide simultaneous translation in six languages. The media brochure of the forum provides various information such as the media schedule, shuttle bus times and routes, and events at the venue. Up to now, the press Center has registered more than 1,000 journalists.

The theme of the annual conference is "An Uncertain World: Meeting Challenges through Unity and Cooperation, Promoting Development through Openness and Inclusiveness". About 2,000 guests from more than 50 countries and regions will attend the conference. Nearly 50 forums, roundtables and press conferences were held during the four-day event, covering topics such as the Belt and Road Initiative, Chinese-style modernization, Asian regional cooperation, world economic outlook and global geopolitical outlook.
