Chengdu, Chongqing and Guangzhou were named the three most popular destinations in China during this year's summer vacation, according to a report released by online travel agency Qunar. The vacation period typically lasts from July to August.
As the cautionary asterisk has been removed from the travel code app and the condition of COVID-19 prevention and containment is improving, Shanghai and Beijing have returned to the top 10.
The top 10 most popular destinations are as follows:
