Install solar powered turnstile and gate at construction site ensuring site safety
A full-height turnstile was installed at a construction site to ensure that workers could only enter the area after induction.
This restricted access has been achieved by handing out a proximity keycard after induction so that the worker can gain access through the turnstile. Two key challenges during the installation came from the absence of electrical power at the point where the customer wanted the turnstile to be located; and the requirement for the turnstile to be movable.
The power access problem was resolved by installing a solar panel and batteries to the roof of the turnstile and a full function access control system in the enclosure.
The gate would be operated via a security guard house 15 metres from the gate. Instead of running cabling to this office,A remote receiver is installed in the gate control unit and a remote control is provided for security room and site managers to operate the gate.
