In 2018, one person received this 100,000 yuan reward, and he is Jiang Yubin, a researcher at the Fudan University Center for Excavated Documents and Ancient Writing. His award-winning thesis is "The 'Stupidity' of Oracle Bone Inscriptions and Golden Inscriptions - On relevant issues". He is currently the only person to receive this prize money.

The oracle-bone inscriptions were the earliest known Chinese writing carved on tortoise shells or animal bones.
